The pristine rainforests and rugged natural beauty of the OSA PENINSULA make this region among the most beautiful areas in Costa Rica. Declared ‘one of the most biologically intense places on earth’ by National Geographic Magazine, the Osa Peninsula has become the premier eco-tourism destination of Costa Rica. It is a secluded nature wonderland, playing home to many of the country’s rare and endangered animal and bird species, including squirrel monkeys, jaguars, and other forest cats. The BOCA SOMBRERO RESORT is an exclusive eco-ocean front paradise embedded in the amazing rainforest settings of the Peninsula. There are four houses, Casa Rio Sombrero, Casa Playa Sombrero, Casa Troya and Oceanside, plus eight thatched-roof tent platforms, just steps away from the beaches of the Golfo Dulce....
OUR RETREAT PACKAGE
INCLUDES
• 7 NIGHTS ACCOMMODATION
Shared, Double or Single. The lodging ranges from tent
cabana to beautiful private houses - some with swimming
pools.
• 3 ORGANIC MEALS DAILY
includes a selection of fruit, granola, and yogurt
before the morning yoga class, a big brunch afterward, a
light lunch, and a
fabulous, buffet dinner. (veg and non-veg)
• 2 YOGA CLASSES DAILY
morning Mysore and afternoon guided exploratory yoga
sessions, incl. Meditation, Pranayama, Ayurveda and
Restorative Yoga
• 1 SURF LESSON
with a Boca Sombrero instructor
• 1 GUIDED NATURE WALK
OUR PRICING: $1350, $1550, $1750, $1950
(depending on lodging choice) includes all of the above, incl. hotel gratuities. (Airfare is not included)
Not included: spa services/nature tours/canopying/surfing/
mountain biking/kayaking. All these services are available
and can be booked directly at Boca Sombrero.
TERMS:
Pay in full by October 15th, 2011 and receive a $100 discount!
Each participant must fill out a registration form and send a non-refundable deposit of $450 by October 15th, 2011 to secure a spot. Balance is due January 15, 2012. If you would like to guarantee your desired housing choice, tent platform or casa, we recommend making a full payment, versus a deposit, at the time of registration. TRAVEL:
Average flight time to Costa Rica from New York is approx. 4.5 hours. After flying into San Jose (SJO), you will need to take a brief, connecting local flight to Puerto Jimenez (PJM). Nature Air and Sansa are the two airlines that have several flights daily to Puerto Jimenez. The flight is 1 hour, and costs approximately US$90-120 each way.
