This class
is for the more devoted student who is interested in practicing the
traditional method. Primary Series is also known as “Yoga
Chikitsa,” and is taught as a sequence of classical Yoga postures linked
together by synchronized breath movement (vinyasa), deep breathing (Ujjayi),
concentrated eye gazing (Drishti), and energetic seals (bandha) to
increase inner heat for purification, circulation and elimination of
toxins. Pacing is traditional to one breath one movement from
samasthti to savasana.
