Tammy began practicing Yoga in 1998 after taking her first Yoga class at her gym.  Unchallenged by the workout equipment, feeling stuck and bored, Tammy was moved by the practice of Yoga, and has been challenged and inspired EVERY DAY since.

Throughout her years of practice, Tammy has studied with Tim Miller, Nancy Gilgoff, and David Swenson.  She continues to study daily at Yoga East. 

Tammy shares Ashtanga Yoga with the students at Yoga East and hopes to share with them the gifts of her practice;  a sense of self, awareness, confidence, and physical and mental strength.
