Deana Aulisio, 200 RYT
Deana took her first class with Kimberly in a little cabin in Barrington, NH in 2000. Being in college at the time, it took several years before the strong devotion and desire emerged to take on a daily practice. Since then, she has focused on consistency, steady perseverance, and the tried-and-true methods the lineage provides.

Over time, Deana discovered that her teachers would provide her great knowledge, humility, ability, and courage. She learned to breathe, see, experience, and understand with freedom and clarity. In 2006 she traveled to India to study with the late Guruji, Sri. K. Pattabhi Jois, his grandson, Sharath, and his long-time student, Nancy Gilgoff. In the past few years, she has built a strong emulation for other teachers like Nicki Doane and Bhavani Maki. Her daily practice has been a gift that she hopes to share with other students of yoga.

Deana's classes hold the message that by having compassion for yourself and creating a strong community with others we gain the ability to use our hearts to transmit peace between people and our environment. Yoga helps us establish the relationship between the individual self (atman) and the universal self (brahman), so that we are no longer separate or suffering, we are awake and content.
