Karen Joy Serocki, 200 RYT
Karen's Yoga practice began over ten years ago, after graduating from UNH, when she was encouraged by
a friend to try an Ashtanga class. She immediately fell in love with the
Ashtanga Yoga system because it helped her to find focus and connect to her
physical body, similar to what gymnastics was in her younger
years.
Years have pasted and dedication to the practice has formed a strong foundation on which Karen has found many more blessings than just in her physical body. She has practiced while traveling in the world, through difficult life transitions, and in joyful moments. Here she has found stillness of the mind, health of the physical body and freedom of the spirit. Daily practice has become a place to listen to the body, let go, not compare, nor compete with others.
Karen’s current personal practice includes yoga asana, meditation and sutra study. She guides you to find your own center and to connect with your own intuitive wisdom. She shares with her students the immense importance of respecting their own unique process and the love of the practice.
Karen is infinitely grateful for the support and inspiration from all her past and present teachers, especially David Vendetti, Michael Hamilton, Kate O’Donnell, Karen Rafferty, Kimberly Dahlmann and Jason Varney.
