The study of the human body is long tradition inside of Yoga. As we practice, we can honor this tradition when we study how bodies move, how movement can be objectively defined and how yogasana is comprised of these movements. We'll study the terms inside of anatomy, we'll explore joint movements in out own bodies and we'll discuss how our habits affect our yoga practice.

October 14: Feet, ankles, shins

October 15: knees, hips, pelvis, including pelvic floor

November 18: spine and core, including psoas

November 19: shoulders, thoracic, neck and skull

About Erin Ehlers:

Erin Ehlers, E-RYT 500 and C-IAYT, bring over 15 years of experience to the training classroom. With a passion for teaching the science behind the physical practice of yoga, Erin also brings a devotion to Sanskrit, and the texts of the philosophical roots of yoga. Erin delights in making the basics of anatomy accessible to yoga students and teachers.
