Misa Erder, 200 RYT

Misa is modest and kind, it is impossible not to like her, and she is a wonderful instructor. Misa makes everyone feel welcome, and her guidance through vinyasa classes always feels pure, gentle, honest, and enlightening. It is delightful to benefit from Misa’s teaching, and there is always a sense of kinship in Misa’s classes that is remarkable. She is an instructor who inspires me!

Misa brings attention to the specifics of physical postures, the breath, and the mind through gentle and playful cues. Yoga awakened the connection of the body, mind, and spirit in her when her kids were young and it has made her a better mom, partner, and citizen of the world. Misa is a long-devoted student of Ashtanga Yoga and in recent years Iyengar style postures have been sharing in her time on the mat while remaining devoted to the synergistic joy of breath and movement. She received her RYT-200 from Yoga East. She is grateful to her teacher Kimberly Dahlmann, as well as Nicki Doane and Eddie Modestini of Maya Yoga. She completed Kofi Busia's 110-hour training and continues to study with him whenever she can.

Misa takes yoga seriously, and at the same time she keeps her teaching buoyant and light. She is always well-prepared and is also flexible to the needs of her yogis. No two classes of hers are ever the same. She stretches, she encourages, and she laughs. Misa’s classes are a joy.
