300-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
Ashtanga Yoga Immersion (500 RYT)
with Kimberly Dahlmann
Upcoming Training | Fall 2020
This course is for students and teachers who have already completed their 200 hour training and are interested in deepening their own practice and developing their skills as a teacher. The curriculum is set up with teachers in mind but you do not have to be currently teaching to apply.
Many students take a 200 hour training for personal growth and may or may not begin to teach. Many are left with a desire to continue to explore the endless and profound path of yoga. The 300 hour program is a continuation of integrating what we already know, challenging and developing new skills on our mats as well as in the classroom, and deepening our communication and integration of the practice. The program deepens one exploration of the following:
Asana (alignment, mechanics and form)
Art of teaching
Ayurveda cleanse (14-21 days)
Yoga Sutras, Gita, and Vedic Philosophy
Students must have a minimum of 5 years of consistent practice in order to apply and have completed a 200-hour Yoga Alliance course approved by Kimberly.
2 Five-Day Intensives
$100 application fee
$1,000 non-refundable deposit due upon acceptance into the program to hold your space.
Payment plans in 3, 6 or 9 month installments are available.
2 partial scholarships are offered:
25 Hour Practicum: teaching, assisting, observing and cueing a class, plus teaching a community class at Yoga East.
Participation in this program does not assure a teaching position at Yoga East. The program is not intended as training for future teachers at Yoga East. Teaching at Yoga East is a separate process. This program is designed to provide teachers with a strong foundation to develop their own unique teaching path and deepen their personal practice.
